Partnering to advance transportation management and safety
U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)
Supported the Center for Accelerating Innovation’s technology transfer activities and, specifically, its Every Day Counts (EDC) summits scheduled across the U.S. The Center for Accelerating Innovation (CAI) of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) was established to identify and promote the deployment of strategic, market-ready innovations that deliver high-quality transportation projects, shorten project delivery, save time and resources, and improve roadway safety and protect the environment. EDC is a State-based model that identifies and rapidly deploys proven, yet underutilized innovations to facilitate greater efficiency at the State and local levels. Bizzell successfully planned and implemented 19 summits that addressed development, logistics, website development, 508 compliance, graphic design, communications, and reporting.
